1)Grow in your hunger for the Word of God (link on How To Study the Holy scriptures)- as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby(1 Peter 2:2 New King James Version (NKJV))

2) Grow in Faith and Love- We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other,(2 Thessalonians 1:3 New King James Version (NKJV))

3) Grow Diligently in Faith, Love and Grace- But as you abound in everything in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all diligence, and in your love for us, see that you abound in this grace also.(2 Corinthians 8:7 New King James Version (NKJV))

4) Grow in new levels of faith to keep you from stumbling- But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble (2 Peter 1:5-10 New King James Version (NKJV))
